Análisis: Sin perjuicio de lo establecido en el artículo 25 de la Ley Nº 16.697, de 25 de abril de 1995, facúltase al Poder Ejecutivo a disminuir hasta tres puntos de las tasas vigentes al 1º de diciembre de 1997, los aportes patronales a la seguridad social.
En el caso del sector agropecuario el Poder Ejecutivo podrá disminuirlos en hasta un 24 % (veinticuatro por ciento) de los aportes patronales que actualmente realiza.
Esta facultad podrá ser aplicada por sectores de actividad.
El Poder Ejecutivo aumentará el porcentaje afectado por el inciso final del artículo 14 del Título 10 del Texto Ordenado 1991, a favor del Banco de Previsión Social a efectos que los ingresos de este último no resulten afectados por la aplicación de esta disposición.
